“What is Beauty?” – Matthew Collings
Broadcast on BBC2 last December
When researching the meaning of beauty I came across this very interesting television show on the Internet.
Matthew Colongs identifies 10 works of art in which he sees different types of beauty, and makes connections between them and other pieces. as i watched this it made me think about what I think Beauty is. I have not yet come to a conclusion.
Collings's talks about works by Piero della Francesca, Michelangelo, Magritte, Gauguin and American artist Robert Rauschenberg, amongst other. Apart from Michelangelo and Gauguin I have not herd of the others until today. I how watching this very interesting and also helpful.
