Alan Fletcher

While out filming in town I saw an image by Alan Flecther on a postcard for sale,. I did not know who he was but took it as a sign and I liked the style of his designs. So I took down his name and when I got home I went online and looked at his work. The only way I can think to relate this to my FMP film is in the neatness of it as well as I hope people can tell something about myself from my work like I did with Flectcher.   

Some comments I can make about the kind of person Flecther is, based on his image, is that he is a very neat person, I get this from the lines he used as they are very sharp and neat and the colours don’t blend into each other, you have the back and the yellow. Also from looking at the image I would think he was a fan of gangster movies and the man looks very much like a character from The Godfather from the way he is smartly dressed to the hand gesture and the open jaw/long chin like the Don in The Godfather. Lastly if I was to have a guess at what music he is into I would say jazz due to the fact the typography has a swing to each letter like the beat of jazz, but even though the words go off in different directions they are in a straight line which shows class also like jazz, swinging but classy.
